Sommer Elliott-Disque started at Pitt-Titusville in 2013 and serves as the Director of Counseling and Student Development. She is an essential asset of the Student Affairs Staff in helping the students through her office from educational programming to one-on-one counseling.

Sommer provides a multitude of services through her office. She specializes in supporting through all mental health issues from depression to anxiety to more severe diagnoses. In addition, the counseling office provides appropriate services to those who have disabilities both physical and mentally such as learning disabilities. Sommer also provides students with the opportunities for exploring vocation development from the career service aspect from her office.

Sommer graduated with a BS in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. There she was initiated into the National Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International-Chi Sigma Iota, Chapter Omega Zeta. Sommer currently advises the Allies student organization club at Pitt-Titusville.
