Enrollment Verification

You have the option of receiving your enrollment verification as a secure, certified PDF, by mail, or by rush delivery (see below). Placing an on-line order will also be necessary to have your enrollment verification mailed. We will still offer in person, over the counter service (valid student ID card required).

An enrollment verification provides confirmation of enrollment status, dates of attendance, and degree(s) conferred. Verifications may be used to confirm enrollment to insurers and lenders and to confirm degree(s) to employers.

The University of Pittsburgh has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to act as its agent for all verification requests from third parties. All insurers, lenders, employers and others who need to verify enrollment and/or degrees of University of Pittsburgh students must use the National Student Clearinghouse services. Data is sent to the Clearinghouse on a regular basis. Information given by the National Student Clearinghouse is in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Notes:

An enrollment verification provides confirmation of enrollment status, dates of attendance and degree(s) conferred.
