Residence Life & Housing

The University offers a comprehensive residence life program to provide a living/learning environment that promotes individual development. Planned activities, policies and regulations, facilities, and services are designed to meet individual students' need to promote community and out-of-class learning opportunities.

Because of the University's belief that campus residency supplements the students' educational experience, full-time students are required to live on campus their freshman year. Exceptions are granted to those students who are married, residing with parents/guardians/relatives, over the age of 21, or if they live within a 30-mile radius of campus. Exemptions are subject to the approval of the Executive Director of Student Affairs.

Housing Facilities

Whenever possible, the University attempts to honor students' requests for roommate and housing assignments. Single room requests are honored when space permits.  All facilities are wired with direct internet access and coin-operated laundry facilities.  Here is a list of what to bring to campus with you.
