The University offers a comprehensive residence life program to provide a living/learning environment that promotes individual development. Planned activities, policies and regulations, facilities, and services are designed to meet individual students' need to promote community and out-of-class learning opportunities.
Because of the University's belief that campus residency supplements the students' educational experience, full-time students are required to live on campus their freshman year. Exceptions are granted to those students who are married, residing with parents/guardians/relatives, over the age of 21, or if they live within a 30-mile radius of campus. Exemptions are subject to the approval of the
Executive Director of Student Affairs.
