Stephanie Thomas, Director of Student Activities at UPT, was the recipient of NACA's Outstanding Service Award. |
TITUSVILLE, PA, Apr. 1 – Stephanie Thomas, Director of Student Activities at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, received the Outstanding Service Award at the 2005 National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) National Convention in Minneapolis. The award is presented each year to outstanding volunteers in the regions of the organization.
Thomas began her volunteer work with the NACA Mid-Atlantic Region by serving on the 2002 regional conference as the graphic arts competition coordinator. She has served two years on the regional leadership team as the communications coordinator.
Thomas, director of student activities at UPT since August 1999, is formerly from Indiana, PA. She earned her communication degree from Waynesburg College in 1999.
