STEPHANIE THOMAS NAMED NACA REGIONAL

COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

 

Stephanie Thomas, Director of Student Activities at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, will serve for two years as the Regional Communications Coordinator for the National Association for Campus Activities.

TITUSVILLE, July 21 – Stephanie Thomas, Director of Student Activities at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, recently accepted the position of Regional Communications Coordinator with the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA).

This volunteer position is part of the Regional Leadership Team for the Mid-Atlantic Region that includes the Association’s member colleges and universities in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, DC, and eastern Ontario.

Thomas will be responsible for coordinating the production and distribution of regional publications and conference marketing materials, and serving as a liaison between the Regional Leadership Team and the NACA Office in South Carolina.  In addition, she will record, edit, and distribute minutes of meetings, and maintain the regional homepage on the Internet.  Her term will run through April 30, 2005.

The daughter of Rich and Cheryl Thomas of Shelocta, Pennsylvania, Thomas graduated from Indiana Area Senior High School in 1995 and Waynesburg College in 1999.  She joined the UPT staff in August 1999, where she plans and coordinates student activities, organizes events for the Spotlight Series, and serves as a member of the residence life staff.
