SIFE TO PRESENT "WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE?"

AT TITUSVILLE MIDDLE SCHOOL

TITUSVILLE, Feb. 19 -- Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville will present “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?” to 200 sixth graders at the Titusville Middle School on Friday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The presentation will help school children gain an understanding of how business works.  It is part of SIFE national “Teach a Child About Business Week” sponsored by Discover Financial Services, Inc.

As part of “Teach a Child About Business Week,” SIFE teams develop projects for grades K-8 that teach how businesses operate and impact daily lives.  Students learn about responsible consumerism and professional opportunities.

“Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” will introduce the sixth graders to investment concepts and the importance of investing early to allow money time to compound.  Stocks, bonds, mutual funds and Roth IRAs will be discussed.  These concepts will be reinforced via a game of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?” with the winners winning the equivalent of one million Turkish liras.
