UPT ADMISSIONS TO PRESENT

AT PASSCAC CONFERENCE IN JUNE

TITUSVILLE, May 9 -- Two members of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville Office of Admissions will present at the Pennsylvania Association of Secondary School and College Admission Counselors (PASSCAC) Conference on June 19 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

Jessica Reynolds, Assistant Director of Admissions at UPT, will present “Ring, Ring… Telecounseling Strategies” to new counselor and middle management conference attendees.  Cricket Wencil, Assistant to the Executive Director of Enrollment Management at UPT, will serve as moderator of the presentation.

Reynolds and Wencil will be assisted in the presentation by Lisa Wenner, Admission Counselor and STARS Supervisor at Bethany College, West Virginia.

The presentation focuses on a recruitment strategy that gives prospective students personal contact with current students via the telephone.  Conference attendees will get tips on hiring, training and motivating telecounselors, as well as designing calling plans.
