TITUSVILLE, Aug. 24 - The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville Department of Student Affairs is busy gearing up for the New Student Orientation Program, which begins this Friday, August 26th.

Twelve Orientation Leaders arrived on campus this week for training prior to the arrival of freshmen students on Friday.  Under the direction of Student Activities Director, Stephanie Thomas, the Orientation Leaders will help acquaint new students with the campus and all it has to offer, as well as assist with moving the students into their residence hall rooms.  The Orientation Leaders also will serve as leaders and guides throughout the weekend program.

“This is a hectic week as we gear up for the new freshmen orientation, which begins on Friday and the returning students who come back on  Sunday,” says Thomas.  “But we are looking forward to meeting our new students and having our returning students back on campus. Plus, we have a weekend filled with fun activities to help the students get to know one another."
