FLORENCE KENDALL ESSAY CONTEST

TITUSVILLE, PA, Mar 23 – Malorie Kosht-Fedyshin, PT, DPT, director of the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, was selected as a winner in the Florence Kendall Essay Contest.

            She will receive an autographed copy of the new edition of Muscles, Testing and Function with Posture and Pain along with a $50 check.

            Florence Peterson Kendall is one of this country’s foremost physical therapists.  Her book, Muscle Testing and Function, was published in 1949 and remains the “gold standard” for musculoskeletal assessment. 

            Kosht-Fedyshin joined the University in May of last year.  She resides with her husband Mike in Corry.
