COMPLIMENTARY NIGHT FOR MUSIC TEACHERS AND

THEIR STUDENTS FOR STEEL IMPRESSIONS

TITUSVILLE, Jan. 6 - Complimentary tickets are available for students accompanied by their music teacher or choir instructor for the upcoming performance by Steel Impressions at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. 

            Steel Impressions will perform on Tuesday, January 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Henne Auditorium on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville.  All students accompanied by their music teacher/choir director will be admitted free of charge with advance reservations.  For all others, general admission is very inexpensive, only $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for seniors and students.

Steel Impressions is a steel pan band, but don’t be fooled by that description.  This is not banging and drumming on a variety of drums.  It is happy, delightful music, often with a Caribbean sound, soothing to listen to, yet toe-tapping to your ears.

            Tickets may be reserved by calling the UPT Office of Public Relations at 827-4503.  Tickets also may be purchased at the door the night of the event.  Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!  Come and enjoy a little mid-winter break.
