FIVE HIGH SCHOOLS PARTICIPATE

IN UPT BUSINESS CAREER DAY

TITUSVILLE, Oct. 25 -- The Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Business Department of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville held their fourth annual Business Career Day on Friday, October 19.

More than 120 high school students and teachers attended from Titusville, North East, Cranberry, North Clarion and Butler.

Melanie Anderson, Assistant Professor of Business and Director of Continuing Education and Advisor to SIFE, introduced speakers Dr. Michael Worman, President of UPT, and John Mumford, Executive Director of Enrollment Management.

Topics covered during the morning included résumé writing, interviewing tips, mock interviews, and dressing for success.  Marsha Mayer and Meg Sabat from Blair Corporation in Warren demonstrated how to dress for an interview and on the job.  They also displayed the new Blair clothing lines.

The students experienced a day in college life, enjoyed lunch with the students, teachers and guest speakers, and were given tours of the campus.
