AUDITIONS SCHEDULED FOR THE BOYS NEXT DOOR
TITUSVILLE, Feb. 6 -- Auditions for the Titusville Winter Theatre production of The Boys Next Door will be held Monday, February 11, and Tuesday, February 12, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the President’s Conference Room of McKinney Hall at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. Under the direction of Paul Lukach, The Boys Next Door will bring to the stage a funny, yet touching portrait of four mentally challenged men who share a house and learn that there is no place like home. Together with Norman, Lucian, Arnold and Barry, the audience will discover the magic of laughter and the power of love as the men work together to tame the urban jungle. Six male and two female actors are needed for the production, as well as a strong backstage manager and lighting technicians. Rehearsals will begin the middle of February and continue through March and April. The performance is scheduled April 4, 5, and 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Haskell Auditorium at UPT. The Boys Next Door marks the last production of the 2001-2002 Spotlight Series, a cooperative venture between UPT and the Titusville Winter Theatre.
