UPT TO OFFER FIRST FOUR-YEAR DEGREE

TITUSVILLE, June 4 -- The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville, established in 1963, will reach a major milestone this fall when it offers its first four-year degree program.

According to Melanie Anderson, Assistant Professor of Business and Director of Continuing Education, “The four-year degree in business management is a cooperative effort between the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville.  However, the program will be delivered 100 percent on the Titusville campus.”

Students may attend classes full-time or part-time, and those with an associate degree in business from UPT may continue working towards their bachelors degree with no loss of credits.  Students who have attended other academic institutions may have their transcripts reviewed to evaluate the transfer of credits.

Information Sessions will be held throughout the summer for anyone interested in learning more about the degree, or more information may be obtained by calling 827-4408.
