40 Years of Academic Excellence, Community Involvement

and Continued Growth

 

McKinney Hall opened its doors to the first 50 students on September 1963.  Now, 40 years later, over 500 students attend UPT each year.

TITUSVILLE, Sept. 15 -- The University of Pittsburgh at Titusville will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Saturday, September 20, with an open campus in the afternoon and tours provided on the hour from 1:00-4:00 p.m.   In the evening, from 8:30-10:30 p.m., musical entertainment will be provided by local group Acoustic Fish.

We invite the community and people of our region to visit us Saturday afternoon and see how the campus has grown and changed over 40 years, or to join us in the evening from 8:30-10:30 p.m. to enjoy the diverse musical talent of Acoustic Fish.

Tours:       1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (given on the hour)

                Tours depart from the Admissions Office in McKinney Hall.

Music:      8:30-10:30 p.m.

                Acoustic Fish will perform on the lawn of McKinney Hall (weather permitting). 

                Inclement weather location is Boomer's in the J. Curtis McKinney II Student Union.

Tours and musical entertainment are open to the public at no charge.
