TITUSVILLE, Sept. 20 - The a-cappella group Chapter 6 will perform at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville on Monday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Henne Auditorium. Chapter 6 hails from the Chicago area and offers a wide array of music, including pop, jazz, gospel, and rock, with a little bit of comedy squeezed in for good measure. The members of Chapter 6 met in the same college course at Milliken University in Decatur, Illinois, and eventually became a leading jazz a-cappella ensemble. They have received many awards recognizing their talents and have been named Chicago Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Grand Champions for three times, Grand Champions at the 2004 National Harmony Sweepstakes, and “Performing Group of the Year” at the 2005 Association for Promotion of Campus Activities National Convention. Chapter 6 tours the country performing for audiences of all ages and in a variety of settings. Their travels lead them to symphony halls, churches and performing arts centers as well as college campuses, high schools and conventions. They are currently performing with symphony orchestras in Indianapolis, Seattle, Naples, Detroit, Toronto and Baltimore. Chapter 6 is comprised of members Luke Menard (tenor), Nathan Pufall (tenor II), Aaron Dale (A.D.) Stonecipher (baritone, tenor II, vocal percussion), Jerrett Johnson (tenor), Chuck Bosworth (baritone, bass, vocal percussion), John Musick (bass, music director), and Mark Grizzard (tenor II).
