Supervisory
Skills Certificate Program |
The
Supervisory Skills Certificate Program
has been developed by the University
of Pittsburgh's George J. Barco Center
for Continuing Education to meet the
needs of: a) employees
with good technical abilities who have
been promoted into supervisory roles
with little more than a handshake for
"Good Luck" or b)
experienced supervisors who want or
need to "brush up" on their
skills.
The
Supervisory Skills Certificate Program
consists of a series of twelve (12)
workshops. Each session is about
three hours in length. The
sessions are designed to be highly
interactive with one main goal of
causing participants to "think
differently" about their role
(personally and professionally) in the
overall growth and improvement of the
organization.
The Certificate may also be customized
to meet individual needs by selecting
sessions from a wide variety of topics
