SPAN 0001 - ELEMENTARY SPANISH 1

An introduction to basic Spanish for students who have not had three years of the language in high school. The emphasis is on grammar, listening, reading, and writing skills. There are no prerequisites for this course.  (Satisfies Humanities Requirement for the School of Engineering.) (Meets UPB  Foreign Languages or Second Literature Requirement.)  Frequency of Offering:  fall term.

SPAN 0002 - ELEMENTARY SPANISH 2

5 credits

A continuation of SPAN 0001 with emphasis on speaking, reading, writing, and oral skills as well as intermediate grammar. Prerequisite: SPAN 0001. (Meets CAS Foreign Language Requirement.)  (Satisfies Humanities Requirement for the School of Engineering.)  (Meets UPB Foreign Language or Second Literature Requirement.)  Frequency of Offering:  spring term.
