ASTRONOMY

 

ASTRON 0089 - STARS, GALAXIES AND THE COSMOS

3 credits

This is a beginning course for nonscience students with an interest in astronomy. It will focus on constellations and objects in the evening sky, as well as explore our solar system and beyond, in search of a better understanding of the universe in which we live. There are no prerequisites for this course. (Meets CAS Natural Science Requirement.)  (Meets UPT AD Physical Science Requirement, either independent or sequence, when taken with other courses; see your advisor.) (Meets UPB Physical Sciences Requirement.)  Frequency of Offering:  every other year.
