Lab Assistant: Mandatory requirement: Student must be currently enrolled as an accepted nursing student and have completed NUR 0350 and have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA and be approved by the Director of Nursing.
Organize lab supplies and assist lab instructors with clinical labs with first year students. Make photocopies/assist students with foundational/fundamental nursing procedures on mannequins. Act as a model “patient” for realistic and non-invasive demonstrations. Assist instructor with audiovisual devices or simulation set ups. Good computer skills desirable. Positive personality required! Must be available on Tuesdays for both semesters for morning and/or afternoon hours.
