Head Men’s Basketball Coach

As one of the youngest head coaches in college basketball, Steve Allen comes to the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville for his first season from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY, where he spent 3 years as the JV Men’s Basketball Coach. In addition to a successful run at Medaille, Steve Allen founded and directed up and coming AAU program Rust Belt Basketball (RB3), one of the premier AAU programs in Western New York. He also has worked numerous basketball camps at Syracuse University, Five-Star Basketball, Medaille College, Hilbert College, and many high schools in the Buffalo area.

A graduate of Medaille College with a Master’s degree in Special Education, Steve was a part of a program that has been in the postseason the past 6 seasons including 3 NCAA tournaments. Medaille also has more wins in the past 6 seasons than all but 5 schools in Division III. Steve is also a graduate of SUNY Fredonia where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in childhood education. He attended high school in Johnson City, NY.

Steve comes to revive a program that has tremendous potential. He comes from a winning program to bring a winning atmosphere to Pitt-Titusville basketball. The Pitt-Titusville 50th anniversary season aims to be a good one with Steve Allen at the helm.
