What is the Options Program?
The Options Program is the University of Pittsburgh’s response to the increasing number of highly qualified students who seek admission to the Pittsburgh campus. As Pitt’s reputation continues to grow, so does the volume of applications. Unfortunately, only a limited number of spaces are available at the Pittsburgh campus.  However, for students whose academic profile suggests they could benefit from the University's educational philosophy, strengths, and reputation, the Admissions Committee may offer admission to a regional campus, such as Pitt-Titusville.

Am I accepted at Pitt-Titusville?
Yes, you are accepted. There is no need to re-apply.
*Students interested in Pitt-Titusville’s associate degree in Nursing should contact Bobby Wyant, Director of Admissions, at 1-888-878-0462 or wyant@pitt.edu for further information.

Where is the Titusville campus?
The Titusville campus is located just two hours north of Pittsburgh and 45 minutes south of Erie. For directions from your home, click here.

How long will I be a student at Pitt-Titusville?
Most students spend two years at Pitt-Titusville. When you begin your studies, you are earning Pitt credits from the start. At Pitt-Titusville, you can begin any of Pitt’s majors and upon satisfying specific relocation requirements, you may relocate to any campus within the Pitt System to complete your degree. Your credits will transfer and follow you to that campus. One of the things that we are most proud of is being able to provide the same courses offered at the Pittsburgh campus but in a smaller setting, with the personal attention that all students deserve and some need, in order to be successful.

What student organizations are available at Pitt-Titusville?
Pitt-Titusville offers a very active social life. Most students join at least one campus organization which range from Paintball Club, to Biology Club, to Intramurals. For a listing of campus organizations, click here.

Who can I contact to schedule a campus visit or to ask additional questions?

Please call the Office of Admissions toll-free at 1-888-878-0462 to schedule your visit or talk to an admissions representative. You may also contact Bobby Wyant, an admissions counselor, directly at wyant@pitt.edu.
