The Natural Sciences Division strives to provide a high quality education that allows students to successfully complete programs in various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields. This area prepares students for admission to pharmacy, medical or dental schools, and receive an associate degree that strengthens their career pursuits in health-related disciplines. Natural science courses are also offered for non-majors and students in health care programs.
 The faculty are dedicated to providing an environment that enriches students’ educational experiences and nurtures their exploration in different scientific fields through research, student organizations, academic outreach, internships, and study-abroad opportunities.
UPT’s Natural Science programs have received national and regional recognition as well as University Innovation in Education and research grants.
