Dr. Richard Mulcahy

Do you watch the news, documentaries, or historical movies?  Do you like going to museums? Have you ever imagined what it would be like to live in the past?  Have you ever wondered how the problems and issues that we face society today are shaped by decisions that others made decades, centuries, or thousands of years ago?  If so, then you may be interested in pursuing a degree in history.

The Pitt-Titusville associate degree in history prepares you to enter four-year history programs at the campuses within the University of Pittsburgh system and other colleges and universities. The program provides a solid foundation in the history of western civilization, U.S. history, and African-American history.

The program of study for the associate degree includes courses in history, political science, and sociology.
