Program Overview

The nursing program provides an Associate of Science in Nursing which prepares students at the undergraduate level to sit for the State Board of Nursing examination to become a Registered Nurse. This program maintains the University of Pittsburgh’s emphasis on excellence in undergraduate education by providing a strong foundation in the sciences and clinical knowledge. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Board of Approval and Accreditation Status

The Associate of Science in Nursing degree program is approved by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (A.C.E.N) 3343 Peachtree Road, NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, GA 30326 1-800-669-1656 .   The Pitt-Titusville nursing degree program received a full accreditation status through the Fall of 2020 with no conditions.
